Remember Joe Campbell's "The Hero's Journey" and "Myths to Live By" lying on a pillow at Esalen in Big Sur in 1975 listening to Joe talk. Thus, like Parsifal in quest of Das Graal, we boldly approach The Conscious Mind of God! Think of Plato's Allegory of The Cave in Book Seven of The Republic, the first book I read as a Cornell freshman in 1956 in Philosophy 101 far above Cayuga's waters. Remember the fellow who escapes The Cave and sees The Source of The Quantum Wave Function of The Multiverse, symbolized, of course, by The Sun God - the Source of That Spiritual Nile from the Fountain of Eternal Youth in The Temple of Immortality where our Star Ship is heading.

The expansion of 3D space in general relativity is Henry Adams's "dynamo" of all "low-energy" order in the universe in which time, like Botticelli's "Venus Arising From The Sea" is emergent out of the timeless pre-geometry of Dante's "Paradiso".

Subject: The Big Questions

(Reply to a question)

[Nicole Tedesco ]

Subject: What will be the benefits from our work?

(Question)

Imagine that the day has come that we finally figured out the answers to the Big Questions we so doggedly pursue here.

[Sarfatti]

Why do you use the future tense? I have already figured it out. It's called the post-quantum theory of mind-matter and the generation of conscious experience. The rest of you have a lot of catching up to do as you are trapped in your preconceptions like mice in a maze who cannot figure out how to get the piece of cheese - that Pot of Gold at The End Time of Finnegan's Rainbow. :-)

[Tedesco]

Imagine a few years after that: what benefits do you think will have been derived from the discoveries and theories?

[Sarfatti]

Actually, Nick Herbert, before his unfortunate metamorphosis into "Max Weiss" wrote a good book "Elemental Mind" on exactly what is in store for us on the nano-psychotronic front in the 21st Century . Herbert's book, uses the incomplete quantum physics of Niels Bohr, rather than the correct realism of Einstein, de Broglie and Bohm, but he manages to touch on several important technological spin-offs like machines that record our thoughts, dreams and feelings directly, like the teleportation of conscious experiences between different fleshly bags of mostly water (Gregory Corso) across space and time.

The great synthesis, already intuited by Roger Penrose is the precise connection between consciousness and the gravitational field. The clue is in the anomalous acceleration of our apparently ever-expanding universe, and my discovery of how this expansion of 3D space at the cosmological scale generates our conscious experiences at the mesoscopic and nanoscale via the post-quantum back-reaction equation

T(Orch) = 1/HN

H = Hubble's constant

N = the entanglement complexity number of the sentient post-quantum computing network

The practical deployment of post-quantum physics into nano-engineering will literally "Make Star Trek real" with "practical propellantless propulsion" (http://www.stardrive.org) of our vehicles "Ad Astra" and beyond. "Make it so."

[Tedesco]

What do you expect will be the ultimate fruits of our labor, long after we are dead?

[Sarfatti] Death is an illusion. We are Immortal Spirits of the Deep. This was the message of Jesus Christ, and He should know! :-)

Related questions: Why are *you* so interested in this topic?

[Sarfatti]

What else should a thinking intelligent being be interested in? Is there anything more important than the proper understanding of our own consciousness and how it fits into the rest of the universe?

[Tedesco]

What drives you? Why are you here?
