js, I don't know if you are aware of it (and I do not believe I am wrong since I recently painted and sold a painting which is essentially the same image as your Crest) but the image depicted cannot b e any other than "NEHUSHTAN" -- the brazen serpent Moses rasied up in the desert in order that the Nation of Israel should not perish from the flying fiery serpents if only they kept their gaze fixed on the Brazen Serpent. if you would like I can forward a photograph of this painting I did to you??? let me know... later I will remark on the diatribe between you and Vic....good humorous stuff there and a great deal of learning gained by me in perusing it all!
